We’re building a better way to learn
We’re building a better way to learn
We believe that learning should inspire wonder and curiosity
When we think of what learning should look like, we think of students excited to learn because it helps them do more, rather than just sit and pass a test. We think of students who are excited to learn and who get to make, do, create, and build to satisfy their curiosity and explore a world of possibilities
We believe that what’s important isn’t learned from a textbook
We believe that a ‘curriculum’ is a narrow and misguided definition of what it means to learn. We believe that a student’s ‘learning’ extends beyond subject content and encompasses the key skills, traits, and dispositions that students need for a happy and successful life – problem solving, empathy, communication skills, clear thinking, and creativity
We believe that we’re building the leaders of the future
We believe that, in educating today’s students, schools are the vanguard of the next generation. We pride ourselves on developing changemakers and global citizens who grow passionate about tackling the problems in the world. One day they just might save us all
We believe that learning should be for right now, not just for later
However, we think that every student can make an impact, regardless of their age. We don’t believe in teaching skills which students will need at some uncertain point in the future – we believe that they can use their skills right now to make a difference
We’re changing education globally – and we’re just getting started
We’re working with hundreds of schools across the world to help them usher in a new generation of teaching and learning. But until we’ve empowered every school in every country to deliver hands-on, real-world learning in every subject and every classroom, we’re a long way from where we want to be. We’re only just getting started
